About this mask

The Hole Face Mask uses negative space as the main detail. Irregular openings follow the contours of the face, catching deep shadows and creating something between eroded bone, an organic colony, and a face that has begun to disappear.

Different lighting changes the design dramatically, which makes it especially effective for haunted attractions, photography, and stage work. The PETG surface can become decayed flesh, porous stone, rusted metal, fungus, or an entirely unfamiliar biology.

Character ideas

  • Faceless body-horror entity
  • Decayed creature or infected host
  • Haunted-house, film, or photography monster

Finishing ideas

  • Darken the openings before painting the outer surface
  • Use mottled greens, reds, or bone tones for organic decay
  • Side-light the mask to exaggerate the depth of the holes

This is an unfinished shell. Visible print texture and small cosmetic artifacts are normal. Straps are not included. Each mask is made to order; allow up to two weeks before shipment.

Costume and display use only. A mask is not protective equipment and can restrict vision, hearing, and airflow; never wear one while driving, near open flame or heat, or anywhere impaired sight or breathing would be dangerous.
